Fundraising is hard enough on its own.

Before you even start pitching, you need to understand who could actually invest in your company: which funds invest at your stage, where they are based, who the relevant people are, and whether they are even a realistic fit for your round.

So we put together a simpler starting point.

A database of +7,000 investors, already organized by the stage they invest in, from Pre-Seed to Series A.

Why You Need It

Fundraising is not just about reaching more investors. It’s about reaching the right ones.

A great investor can still be completely irrelevant if they don’t invest at your stage. A Series A fund is unlikely to be useful when you’re raising your first $500k. In the same way, an early-stage angel is probably not the right target for a multi-million-dollar institutional round.

Yet one of the biggest time sinks in fundraising is still figuring out who belongs on your list in the first place.

Founders often spend days collecting names before they can even begin researching individual investors, finding the right partner, looking for warm introductions, or writing outreach.

And the quality of that initial list matters.

The better your targeting, the less time you waste on investors who were never going to invest in the first place.

The Full Database

The database contains +7,000 investors, divided according to the round they typically invest in.

Each entry includes:

  • name

  • website

  • headquarters country

  • headquarters city

  • key people

  • preferred round

This makes it easy to filter the list and start building a more targeted fundraising pipeline.

Pre-Seed: +3,300 investors

The largest section includes +3,300 Pre-Seed investors.

It covers investors operating at the earliest stages of company building, including angel investors, accelerators and incubators.

For founders raising their first outside capital, this is usually the hardest part of the market to map. The ecosystem is highly fragmented, there are thousands of smaller funds and angels, and many of them are much less visible than the large venture firms everyone already knows.

This list gives you a much broader starting universe to work from.

Seed: +3,000 investors

The Seed section contains +3,000 investors.

At this stage, the universe becomes more institutional, but it is still much larger than the handful of famous funds that appear in every startup article.

The database includes investors from startup ecosystems around the world, allowing you to look beyond the obvious names and identify firms that may be highly relevant to your company but harder to discover through a simple search.

For a Seed raise, this can become the foundation of your outreach process: build a longlist, research the most relevant firms, identify the right partners, and gradually turn it into a prioritized pipeline.

Series A: +700 investors

The final section contains +700 Series A investors.

This includes established venture firms such as Index Ventures, Accel, Sequoia, Balderton Capital and Creandum, alongside hundreds of other institutional investors active at this stage.

By Series A, the investor universe is smaller and the selection process becomes even more important.

You are no longer just looking for anyone who can write a check. You are looking for funds with the right stage, sector expertise, ownership expectations, geography and ability to support the company through later rounds.

Having the initial universe already mapped makes that filtering process much faster.
